This is where all begins...my cutting table; that’s where I prepare all the glass pieces and get them ready for firing in the kiln.

I was born in Greece and have always been fascinated with arts and crafts. As a small girl and a self-taught artist I was spending a lot of time drawing, painting and experimenting with different media. Through my teenage years, I had the opportunity to learn different crafting skills using clay, polymer clay, papier mache, metal sheets, and other materials. As an adult, I moved to the US to study Mathematics and Business. After the completion of my Master's degree, I had the chance to work in a glass studio- Solid Sand Studio -where I learned the amazing art of stained glass. Working with glass inspired me to use those same materials and techniques to create wearable art. I started experimenting with non-lead soldering using glass gems and incorporating beads and original handmade polymer clay beads into my designs to create inspirational, unique artistic jewelry. My latest creations are made with fused glass and dichroic glass. In my work I incorporate, unique fused glass focal pieces, silver components, glass beads and elegant pearls. My childhood memories in Greece greatly influence my creations. Nostalgic moments such as playing on the beautiful and colorful Mediterranean beaches or going to the many open markets and festivals are just a few examples of what inspires me. Even my studies in mathematics and the classics are reflected in the symmetrical forms and clean geometry of my work. Add to this a love for life, a passion for color and art and you are given a glimpse as to what drives my work...
